AKD Testing and Calibration Pvt. Ltd. provides testing and calibration of weights, measures and other instruments.
Fees
Charges are quoted before work begins, based on instrument type, capacity and quantity. Travel and site charges for on-site verification are quoted separately based on distance and quantity, and are confirmed before the visit.
Turnaround
Testing is normally completed within one to two working days of receipt, and certificates are issued within 15 working days. Delays caused by instrument condition, incomplete documents or repeat testing are excluded from this timeline.
Instrument handling
Instruments must be delivered in working condition. We take reasonable care of instruments in our custody, but we are not responsible for pre-existing defects, wear, or faults revealed during testing. Instruments that fail testing are returned with the reason recorded.
Certificates
Certificates reflect the condition of the instrument at the time of testing. Any repair, tampering or recalibration afterwards voids the verification, and re-verification is required before further use in trade.
Liability
Our liability in any matter is limited to the charges paid for the instrument concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including penalties arising from use of an instrument after its verification has lapsed.
